CB1 is located in a prime position for the city’s transport links - directly in front of Cambridge Station and the new transport hub. The railway station, bus interchange (including the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway), taxi rank and cycleways provide commuters with plenty of options for reaching their destinations quickly and comfortably.

Cambridge Station provides fast train services to London and other cities and destinations. Commuters can reach London King’s Cross Station in 45 minutes; Liverpool Street Station in 1 hour, 10 minutes; Stansted Airport in 30 minutes; and Heathrow Airport in 1 hour, 55 minutes. The station carpark offers around 370 car parking spaces.

Bus

From the Cambridge Station stop in CB1, passengers travelling on the new Cambridgeshire Guided Busway can easily reach the Science Park and Addenbrooke’s Hospital. They can also connect to the other busway routes which provide links to many other parts of the city and Cambridgeshire. A large number of conventional buses also use the new bus interchange and serve all parts of the city and region.

Traditionally the Cambridge transport of choice, cycling now has proper provision with the station’s new 3,000-space cycle park - the largest in the UK. The city centre is within easy reach, and dedicated cycle ways offer efficient and environmentally friendly links to other parts of the city.

Road

CB1 offers easy access to major roads including the M11, M25, and A14, providing fast links to London and the south, northern England and East Anglia. Stansted Airport is just 28 miles by road, and central London is just 62 miles away.
